Professor Gelfand is the Co-Editor of and
Contributing Author to the recently released
book, Ectogenesis: Artificial Womb Technology
and the Future of Human Reproduction. His
current research interests include a variety of
issues in Biomedical Ethics and the topic of
Dialogue in a Pluralistic Society. He
teaches medical Ethics, Philosophy of Law,
Social Philosophy, Engineering Ethics,
Philosophies of Life and Business Ethics.

Professor Landry's publications include articles
in ethical and legal issues in competence and
the elderly, political philosophy and a book,
Marx and the Postmodernism Debates: An Agenda
for Critical Theory. Her current research
interests include Ethical Theory, Health
Care/Clinical Ethics, Professional/Applied
Ethics, Social Theory and Political Philosophy.
She teaches Biomedical Ethics, Philosophies of
Life and Perspectives on Death and Dying.

Lawrence Pasternack, Associate Professor of
Philosophy

Professor Pasternack has published on a wide
range of topics including moral weakness,
freedom of will and metaethics. His current
research interests include: the Nature of
Intrinsic Value, Kant, and Epistemic
Responsiblity. He teaches Ethical Theory, Modern
Philosophy and Critical Thinking.

Eric Reitan, Associate Professor of Philosophy
Professor Reitan has published on a wide range
of topics including Philosophy of Religion,
Sexual Ethics, Punishment, Environmental Ethics
and Nonviolence. His current research interests
are: Ethical Theory, Applied Ethics, Peace and
Nonviolence Studies and Philosophy of Religion.
He teaches Business Ethics, Environmental
Ethics, and Business Ethics.

Michael Taylor, Associate Professor of
Philosophy

Professor Taylor has published primarily on
Philosophy of Education and Political
Philosophy. His current research interests are:
Globalization, Democracy and Pluralism. He
teaches Philosophy of Education, Perspectives on
Death and Dying, and Social Philosophy and
