About me. A long time ago in a far away land, I graduated from Anoka Technical College with the illogical major of fashion merchandising (this was so long ago they don't even offer this degree anymore). I took that because I loved to shop and, well, being paid for it had to be heaven! (I was wrong. Working holidays and weekends is for the birds!) My hometown is Royalton, Minnesota. Not a bad place to grow up in the scope of things. I've been working here since 1993 -- way too long for this Republican to work in a largely-liberal academic community and remain sane -- yet I remain if for no other reason than balancing the left with a powerful right.
