Dr. Heitz is co-editing a forthcoming book entitled Practical Wisdom in the Age of Technology and will be contributing a chapter of his own titled “The Screening of Reality: A Phenomenological Perspective on the Computer Screen.” He is also spearheading an effort to establish a Center for Mindful Inquiry together with Dr. Bruce Ackerson, Professor of Physics, and Dr. Nik Dalal, Professor of Management Systems and Information Technology. The goal is for this interdisciplinary center to be housed in the Philosophy Department.
